Analogue field programmer 1700 951 018: setting start and end
After analogue sensors are fitted, electrical zero and mechanical zero often disagree. Germanjet's Series 19 analogue programmer 1700 951 018 sets start and end on the sensor, anywhere within the factory stroke. It does not edit the PLC scale instruction.

Site order
- Fix end-stops, magnet and wiring first.
- Change either the sensor or the PLC, not both at once.
- With the programmer: set zero at mechanical start, full scale at mechanical end, inside factory stroke.
- Check 10% / 50% / 90%. Large mid error means the two span points were wrong, not that zero needs another tweak.
Factory analogue is slightly wider than nominal stroke, so the machine must be calibrated after installation — programmer or PLC.

- Fieldbus and SSI (162 / 192): zero lives in the object dictionary or master, not this analogue box.
- Series 12 / 16 / 18 analogue: PLC two-point, see n117.
- Profibus slave address: a different tool (1700 951 032), not 1700 951 018.
